The Ways Of God (Part 3): Understanding The Mind Of God

Hey Luvs,

I trust you are all well in Jesus Name. It has been a very busy week for me so excuse my silence. But all in all God is still Good!

''Just as you cannot understand the path of the wind or the mystery of a tiny baby growing in its mother's womb, so you cannot understand the work of God, the Maker of all things'' (Ecclesiastes 11:5)

There are many times where we have attempted to guess what God is doing/saying and many times where we have gotten it wrong, simply by underestimating Him or doubting His Power. I for one am guilty of doing this, there have been many times I believed God would operate in a certain way to my human understanding and He would not. But through that I have seen and still learning about the Mind of God.

There have been many scenario's I have come across and you would believe God would have written the people off or their lives would have come crashing down, but God had another plan for them. That may be because the Bible often talks about commandments that God has given His children and for us to live by. However we must pray for true understanding of His word in order not to live on false doctrine. Let's say for instance someone gets pregnant out of wedlock, most people tend to believe their life is over or that they are going to be subject to torture for life (because of their sin). However what people fail to realise that God is a creator and He has the ability to recreate a life for you!

I am not saying go against His Word (there are repercussions for this) but what I am saying is understand His Mind. You see He could turn that mess above into a blessing for the person. God is able to use that very situation to take you to greater heights. However often or not people condemn and criticise them as if God has written them off NEVER!. His Mercy and Loving Kindness cannot betray Him (I hope you caught this revelation!) because these are the very characters/images of God and they cannot be separated.

Ephesians 2: 4-5 But God being Rich in mercy, because of His great love which He loved us, even when we were dead in our sins, made us alive together with Christ (by Grace you have been saved). If we believe that God is so condemning this scripture would never be evident. We need to move away from condemnation and move to love because through this we demonstrate that we know Him and we are of Him (1 John 4:8). God is all love, His mind towards His children is all love, His plans for His children are driven by Love!

The Mind of God we cannot fathom, but when we look at His Word we gain an understanding of the method to His Madness! The way God applies wisdom to situations you may not necessarily understand at that point...but in due time you will. Becareful not to go ahead of God and the way He works lest you experience disappointment. Don't be in a haste to place judgement/condemnation/evil thoughts-words onto someone or a situation because the very opposite might just happen. This is because God is God on His own and you cannot stand in the place of judgement/decision making for Him. We can argue that the Bible provides examples of how God has operated and worked. Yes, however this still should not limit our thoughts about what He can do. He even said that His thoughts are higher than our own... then how can we honestly say He will definitely do what we think he will do?

I want to bring you to a place where you expand your thoughts about God, it is very easily to develop a closed mind about who God really is.

If we are to take back the world, we need to gain an understanding about Him, His Mind and His Love. Read and UNDERSTAND the Bible (His Word). Ask the Holy Spirit to teach you and pay attention when He does because it could be YOU He uses as the example!

Remember:
-''For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,’ says the LORD. ‘For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts'' (Isaiah 55:8-9).

-''Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him'' (1 Corinthians 2:9).

-''But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned” (1 Corinthians 2:9, 14).

-''Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of the mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good, acceptable and perfect'' (Romans 12:2).

I Pray you have been blessed
